Her Bangalore Dreams trio played at the Brunel Museum this time last year and it was a truly delightful evening. A really stand-out performance. Read more about her in the current Songlines magazine p52. I'll be a the West Country gigs as well as Chichester and Brighton, at least....

Just thought I'd post rather a magnificent review from her Bristol gig:

In Chichester and at the Jamboree the sets will be much more classical.

That one will in fact be a much shorter set. Vula Viel are doing a longer set after them but it should be good nonetheless. Think there'll be Ethiopian food at that one. The Magic Garden will be more along the lines of what they played in Bristol.

Here's something to give you an idea of her (free) gig at the Magic Garden in Battersea this Thu: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fen8DNh4AE

Her performance in Chichester this Wed is in a lovely chapel and will be acoustic. At the Jamboree she'll be again a bit more classical in style.

Having said tomorrow's set will be more classical in fact it looks like it'll be the contemporary repertoire after all. Good music either way. And good Ethiopian food too by the looks of it, provided by these people: http://www.kaffacoffee.co.uk/#about.

Be there by 6.30pm to hear Jyotsna and co - that's when they might start.
