The wonderful ROTW festival, cancelled last year for want of a venue, is back this year. August 2nd / 3rd. Hitchin Priory.

A cheaper and more intimate alternative to WOMAD, there are also possibilities to get involved in terms of volunteering and performing.

Thirty five minutes direct from Kings Cross.

RHYTHMS OF THE WORLD is a charity. The festival is largely run by volunteers. If you have ever fancied in getting a foot in the door of festival organisation there are opportunities in publicity, advertising, creative artwork, stewarding, artist/ backstage work, litter picking/ family area supervision...allsorts that you might like to volunteer for.

They have just announced a few of the acts for Aug. 2nd & 3rd....oh! I can't remember..Go to their website.
