A strong Colombian rhythm section,
a half Grenadian cellist and a Danish double bass player make up this
colorful quintet.
This ensemble produces a world of truly evocative sounds that generate
deeply moving images with the power to transport an audience to a
space of intimate emotions.
With Velasierra’s direction and feverishly passionate improvisations,
this quintet has been able to createa completely new language with
intricate grooves and hypnotically
beautiful Andean melodies; resulting in breathtaking compositions and
emotionally charged performances.
