Curtis Womack R.I.P.

Curtis Womack, the second eldest of the Womack Brothers passed away on 21st May, aged 74 - he and Bobby were the two main lead singers with the Womack Brothers (gospel) who later became the Valentinos (r&b). Friendly Womack, the eldest of the five brothers, is now the only survivor from the group.

Curtis sang lead on both versions

They first recorded in 1954 as "The Womack Brothers featuring the 9 year old Curtis Womack"
