Lenine is another one. Charlie used him on "Sound of The World 2000", and I fell in love with a song of his ("Hoje Eu Quero Sair Só") on a Luaka Bop sampler, but I have yet to find anything else by him that is as good as that track.

ok. interesting. If you're (really) interested in hearing a few new Brazilian artists I'd love if you could check www.bmatools.com. You have to register to get in. I've a bunch of tracks there (authorized by the artists/labels) for download in WAV format.

and I've just seen that Os Ipanemas have a new one, Call Of The Gods. Haven't heard it yet.
