I am proud to be the driver of the Boomerang Project at this years http://www.HebCeltFest.com, musicians, singers and dancers from Australia and New Zealand, performing tonight in the main tent, then being part of the Commonweath Games celebrations.
Its not often that bagpipes and digeridoo are heard together, we had the band Breabach with us, nominated Best Group - BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2014.

I'll load a pic when I get a chance

I was also the driver for the outstandingly good Gordie MacKeeman and his Rhythm Boys, a bluegrass band from Price Edward Island in Eastern Canada.

Afterwards when they were doing a CD signing I mentioned that I half expected them to play the Beverley Hillbillies theme song ... later, going past their green room, they called me in and I was given a special performance of "The Ballard of Jed Clampett"
I joined in lustily for, as an Irish band once told me, "If you can't sing good, then at least sing loud!".

They were a joy to drive and I was also enchanted by their exquisite old fashioned manners, I've never been thanked from the stage before, aw shucks.

Take a look at their website: http://www.gordiemackeeman.com/
